PFI Freediver course (San Pedro/Redondo), August 15 - 16
Register for PFI Freediver class, taught by instructor Lance Lee Davis. Students will dive up to 20M (66') and do statics breathholds of up to 4 minutes. Total class cost is $500. This is a two day class, limited to 6 total students, from Saturday to Sunday. To register and secure your spot, pay $250.00 nonrefundable deposit today. Balance is due at the start of class. After registering, within about a week of class start, you will receive and email with additional information about the class, medical waiver, an e-learning code, as well as a link to pay your balance. After registering, any of change of date is subject to availability and a $100 fee. Students wishing to rent or purchase equipment can do so on the first day of class from the shop which is hosting us for classroom, Pacific Wilderness, during the lunch break.
What to do to prepare for the class? Before the class, checkout the 'EQ 101' article on my blog (https://www.socalspearit.com/single-post/2018/05/07/Equalizing-Your-Ears-101). Most students find it very beneficial to do a little bit of ear homework before the class. Equalizing ability (not breathhold!) is the most common limiting factor for students when it comes to ocean work.
